A beautiful warm sunny winter's day here. It was a work day for Sam. I did our washing, cleaned the house and watered our house plants and veggies. The boys and I went for a long hike before lunch exploring Baldy Top and the surrounding landscape. In the late afternoon Sam joined us as we climbed another red rocky formation called Table Top to catch the sunset. There is something so very beautiful about this landscape. #buslife #nomads #outback #offgrid #australia #abcmyphoto #thisisqueensland #seeaustralia #rvlife

This is beautiful Moreton Island. I took the boys on a day cruise to @tangaloomaislandresort earlier this week. We snorkeled around The Wrecks and spent many hours swimming in the crystal clear waters that surround the island. I even managed to get a few quick pictures with my drone. It’s been eighteen months since we visited our favourite island and former home (we lived at the Cape Moreton lighthouse for five years) and it was wonderful to be back, if only for the day! ~ Keiran.

Travelling lonely outback highways in my first bus a decade ago. This is one of two images that I keep focused on in my mind for motivation when the going gets tough with our current bus conversion project. I spent many years living in the desert at Uluru and just love the wide open spaces and the beauty of outback Australia. And I can't wait to be exploring this magical landscape with my family in Bronte the bus. We've been building now for thirteen months and I'm feeling both physically and mentally exhausted. But we're on track to be living in the bus early in the new year. There are still a few big jobs in the bus to tick off before we can hit the road and travel outback highways like this. We've got to fit the fresh water tanks (540L) and grey water tanks (150L), set up the composting toilet and install an entire solar power system. We've also got to sort through and minimalise our possessions and sell our house. But I can definitely see a faint light (of sorts) at the end of the tunnel. I launched my @kayaks2fish kayak from Brighton Park and spent a couple of hours exploring this fascinating area. Tonight's magnificent sunset show over Lake Samsonvale near #Brisbane. The boys and I were treated to a most beautiful scene! I took a day off today from working on the bus, instead enjoying a sunrise kayak in the Boondall Wetlands, a picnic lunch and splash about at Cedar Creek with the boys, and then this incredible sunset at the lake tonight! All set up in Bronte the bus at Pottsville North Holiday Park. We created a nice outdoor space beside the bus with our @oztrailaustralia camping gear. Eventually we'll get a proper motorhome awning and some window awnings, but the gazebo is proving great for longer stays like this one. Home sweet home. Our converted bus named Bronte. She's a 1998 Hino school bus and we've spent the past eight months converting her into our tiny house on wheels. We're currently on a two week 'test run' and much needed holiday on the Tweed Coast with @tweedcoastholidayparks. The boys and their Nana at Fingal Head. What a magical spot! We saw humpback whales and dolphins from the headland! Nana joined us for a few days this week, whilst @littleearthstories is away on her long haul sailing adventure to New Caledonia. We're on a two week Tweed Coast adventure, staying in Bronte the bus at @tweedcoastholidayparks. We started our Tweed Coast holiday with a couple of nights at Boyds Bay Holiday Park. This place is one of my favourites. I stayed here nine years ago in Alice the bus (for a couple of months) and spent my days paddling a kayak in Terranora Creek and the Tweed River.
