Our #outback home for the past few months. We’ve been renting this beautiful property near #Charleville and living in our bus at the front gate of the homestead (which is hidden in this picture by the lush gardens that surround the house). Believe it or not, the rent was cheaper than most caravan parks that we’ve stayed at on the east coast. We’ve had to maintain the homestead gardens and take care of the property, but it has been a very satisfying experience. We’ve grown vegetables, the boys have turned the empty house into Lego World and we’ve enjoyed daily sunset walks along the nearby river. Now that travel restrictions are beginning to ease, we’ve decided to hit the road again in two weeks’ time. It will be strange to leave our quiet little oasis in the outback and to re-enter the world again. But we’re planning on seeking out some quiet bush camps further west, so we’ll be easing back into things again!
