Bronte the bus is a 1998 Hino RG230 with PMC/Austral Pacific Starliner body. The bus is 12 metres in length, has top hopper windows that open, underfloor luggage bins on the nearside and good headroom (197.5cm).
Previously, Bronte worked as a charter/school bus for Fallon’s bus service in Yea and Alexandra, Victoria.
We found Bronte on Facebook marketplace after a lengthy search online. We spent nearly 12 months watching various online marketplaces (including Gumtree, eBay, Facebook and Bus News). Keiran maintained a detailed spreadsheet of all buses that we enquired about, which included all specifications, pricing and notes. It helped us to narrow down our search to certain types of buses! Before we found Bronte, we had already narrowed down our search to the Hino RG230 with Starliner body.
