A general progress report. Lots of work with insulation, windows and walls. We’re finally also getting started with building the furniture and it’s super exciting. This is the beginning of the main bedroom (queen bed and book shelves at rear). We’re planning to insulate under the bed (as it’s situated above the engine). The bus starter batteries have been removed for a good charge and the battery box treated for rust. We’ve also been busy online buying electrical components like power points (double pole), usb charging sockets and exterior sensor lights. We’re kind of all over the place but definitely moving in the right direction with the project. Stay tuned… #busconversion #buslife #bus #tinyhouse #skoolie #skoolieconversion #vanlife #offgrid #busbuild #rvlife #busnut #busrollwithit #livesmaller #nomad #happycamper #wander #wanderlust #homeiswhereyouparkit #ontheroad #buslifeaustralia #buslifeau

@naysidaisy Thanks so much Ren! It’s getting there slowly!
So exciting!!
Lookin good What’s the floor to ceiling height in this beast?
@twentypiece Thanks Kyle! Height is 197.5cm or 6 feet 5 inches. Your project is coming along. Love the lighting!
@ajira Thanks so much!
@talesfromthewild ahhh nice! Mines only about 6’-1” …wish I had the extra four inches lol
@twentypiece I’m 196cm tall so it was essential to find something that I fitted in! And we didn’t have the skills or confidence to raise a bus roof. Got lucky with this bus!
@talesfromthewild i love your bus, it’s gorgeous! Looks like you don’t even need to paint it or do much on the exterior either which is nice. I also am not ready to lift a roof up haha maybe someday
